Description:
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review seeks a programmer to join its multimedia team and maintain the news portion of its web site, TribLive.com. The site provides breaking news and sports reports plus video and interactive graphics from several Western Pennsylvania newspapers. Applicants should have at least two years of professional experience and be comfortable working under deadline pressure. The successful candidate will be a self-starter able to work with a team while being the go-to person for technical problems.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring users have access to stories, photos and graphics
Developing ways to present information across a variety of platforms
Having a sense of urgency as well as a sense of humor
